Steps after audiogram entry

Post by dpoznan » Wed Jul 07, 2021 8:00 pm

Is there an example of the step by step process of going from audiogram entry to
correction stored and applied to the hearing aids?

I want to be able to do a direct comparison with this portable B & C research hearing aid and my new ReSound hearing aids.

There is a fitting GUI manual at http://www.openmha.org/ documentation.

I have reviewed the GUI manual and have gone through the steps of entering my audiogram, and running the FirstFits.

However, I have no idea from the document how one causes the hearing aids to utilize a particular fitting.

How does one switch between different fittings. How does on adjust a fitting?

(I may not be using the proper terminology...I'm new to this.)

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated

How does one switch between different fittings.
By clicking on the respective lines in the "Presets" box.
How does on adjust a fitting?
By changing the frequency-specific gains with the fine-tuning controls at the bottom of the GUI.

Hope this helps!

I have a NAL_NL2 fit from my audiologist. I would like to enter it in the presets. I cannot find where they are stored and the format of the file. How do I create my own preset?

Thanks,

Dan..
