Hi,

for some reason, I cannot get the GUI working using Octave (Linux). I am getting the following error: unknown object class, uicontrol
After doing some research in the web, it might be a problem of Octave using uicontrol,and maybe with gnuplot but I didn't find out, what the exact problem is and how to fix it.
Did anybody experience that before and has a suggestion how to solve the problem?

Please provide the full list of steps that you have performed to evoke this error, and the full version information of the software that you have used, so that I can try to reproduce your error.

Thank you for the reply. It seems to be a problem with octave, because I switched to using Matlab and everything works fine!
So there is no need to further solve this Octave-Problem. However, if it is helpful for others: I experienced that going step by step through the Starting guide. And as a sidenote: The starting guide is really great and helpful!
