NAL-NL2 with MHA question
How does one go about changing the number of bands and center/edge frequencies for a NAL-NL2 fitting using MHA matlab tool?

Issue updating audiogram in fitting tool
Hi, I was experiencing an issue where I cant seem to have new audiograms when I edit an existing one in the Fitting Tool for Matlab. I was trying to modify the flat40 to make it a flat 0 dB HL audiogram for testing purposes. However, its not saving my changes or creating a new audiogram. Could someo...

Initialize sAud and sFitmodel in matlab?
Are there functions available to quickly initialize default sAud and sFitmodel structures in matlab? I was trying to test the gain rules without using the GUI.

Re: Question regarding target REIGs in openMHA
Thanks for sharing the fitting manual. That was very helpful. One question I have is whether the matlab fitting tool has a tool for measuring the actual real-ear insertion gain values within each frequency band? I understand that the LTASS panels show the insertion gain targets but it would be reall...

Re: Question regarding target REIGs in openMHA
Or is it the case that simply creating a fit with NALRP specified is not sufficient? Do we have to change the gains/maxgains for each of the frequency bands?

Question regarding target REIGs in openMHA
NALRP.png Hello, I was going to be doing some testing using the NAL-RP prescription rule with flat loss profiles of 20 dB and 40 dB across all frequency bands. When I load those specified audiograms, I see the curves in the above^ picture. Assuming I'm trying to measure insertion gains at 65 dB, wo...

Custom gain prescription rules
Hello, is it possible to use custom gain prescription rules with openMHA matlab fitting tool? I was just wondering if one were to create targets using NAL-NL2 (given they have a license), would one be able to load these gains using some kind of default "custom gain table" prescription rule...

Re: dynamic compressor question
Thanks Paul. Thats very helpful and I clearly understand how to interpret the center and edge frequencies generated based on the specified filterbank settings. Can you elaborate a bit more on how to interpret the "shapes" variable? Does the shapes specify if the filter shapes are rectangul...

dynamic compressor question
Hello, I was wondering if you could share more details on how exactly the FFT bins are grouped together into frequency bands for the level detector stage of the dynamic compressor plugin? Is it accurate to assume that the bins are grouped into logarithmically spaced bands? It would be great if you m...
